How to keep our dogs clean and healthy

Keeping our dogs clean and healty may not be so easy thing to do

It all dependence on how log dogs hair are, how old is he or if is he allergic for chemical ingredients of soaps or shampoos

There are dogs that don’t need to be washed too often. Sometimes it is even enough to wash a dog once in a year. Those dogs that are obedient will just not wallow in grass or worse in others dogs poo. Which doesn’t mean that are not happy dogs. Those dogs that like to wallow in anything that smells good to them will have to be washed very often.

Commercial shampoos are convenient

Washing a dog is a very important activity and a mean to have a healthy dog. Having a bath very often requires to have more closer look on the cosmetics that are used. Commercial shampoos are a good choice for dogs without allergies and those that are not washed too often. Those also are very often certified not to have allergens, and it is just convenient to use them.

DIY shampoos are natural

Nevertheless it is a good idea to try natural homemade shampoos, especially if you wash your dog very often. DIY shampoos should be based on natural soaps as those contain no allergens.

But what to do if you don’t have a natural soap? You can use baby shampoo or nn-toxic washing liquid then and adding a vinegar will help get rid of the flees as well.

Went out for a hicking or just don’t have an access to water? You can use a dry dog shampoo which consists of backing soda, a starch and few drops of ethereal oil.
